Is it possible to use my current handset?
 
You have two possibilities in order to use your LeFrenchMobile SIM card; you can either buy a new handset, or use your current handset. If you decide to use your current phone, juste bear in mind that the phone needs to be SIM lock free and compatible with our services. If your handset is SIM locked, you can contact your current provider and unlock it. To check the compatibility of your phone, please contact our Customer Service 01 70 75 24 00.
 
How do I make international calls?
 
The «International Optimum» service is activated on all LeFrenchMobile SIM cards and allows you to make cheap international calls. .) If you are not able to make international calls or there is a message displayed on your screen indicating that your handset is not compatible; please contact our Customer Service on 01 70 75 24 00.
 
How do I send an international SMS?
 
With your FrenchMobile SIM card you can send text messages to national or international numbers. Our partner Bouygues Telecom does not allow sending text messages to all foreign mobile operators. Please contact our Customer Service for more information.
 
How do I listen to my voicemail messages?
 
Calling the voicemail:
- Go to the @Transatel menu and choose Voicemail
- Or: press 1 and call

Web access to your voicemail:
- Go to www.transatel.com
- Log on to My Transatel 
- Your login: your phone number (International format: +33 6 …)
- Your password: your pin code

 
What happens when my LeFrenchTraveller subscription ends?
 
Your line will automatically expire after this period, unless you cancel it before. You can end your subscription by contacting us. If you would like to keep your phone number for a next visit to France, you can also decide to keep your number for only € 5/month.
 
How do I end my subscription?
 
After your contract period, you can cancel your subscription by contacting our Customer Service.

How do I pay?
 
There are two ways to pay your LeFrenchMobile subscription:

•  Direct Debit with a French bank account

•  French Credit Card

In order to get a subscription for LeFrenchMobile we always need your credit card details.

You need to pay an initial amount of €50 as a deposit in order to activate your SIM card. This deposit will be returned to you after the payment of your last invoice.

You will receive a monthly invoice with your call charges and subscription fees. The amount will automatically be debited from your account.
